I'm downloading 6.09 Amazing Grace now for my mum, and am keen to give it a try. I'm running Zenwalk myself, which is well suited to my needs, but I'll probably have a bit of a play with Ichthux on my laptop. I recently installed Xubuntu on my mum's computer, but Xfce appears to be very buggy, and I am hoping Ichthux will make a neat replacement for it. Mum seems more at ease using a Christian distro. I've done some development work for Puppy Linux in the past, and I'd like to help out if I can. I'm looking forward to getting to know the Ichthux community a little better. Maranatha!

Welcome here! I didn't know about Zenwalk, this seems to be a very nice XFCE-based distribution. We plan to use Xubuntu as a basis for Ichthux-lite which would be a version for less powerful machines. I'm hearing more and more about Puppy Linux but never tried it myself. You're surely welcome to help. You might want to have a look at the contribute page or join us on #ichthux on the Freenode IRC network. God bless RaphaÃƒÂ«l

I am extremely happy to see that Ichthux is back, and that it is now being based on the ever popular Kubuntu distro! I am looking forward to the final release version next month!

Nice to see this up and going again, I wonder what became of all this. Im downloading your your latest beta now, it wont be ready though till later tonight. Im still moderating over in the Linspire forum, plus working with Freespire, and yes like Ubuntu as well. I'll pass around the word a bit of what you are doing with some of the Linux users I know. Mac
