Firestarter is nearly always the first program I add to a distro (Libranet, Ubuntu, Mepis, whatever). It's easy to configure as a firewall, works ahead of a LAN, and most importantly, allows me to "share" an internet connection with other computers (IPMasq'ing or Net Address Translation) by just checking a box on a GUI. I never have been comfortable with the Guarddog - Guidedog combination. Great start on a fine distro. My congratulations to all concerned!
